CHAS, Children’s Hospice Association Scotland, is holding a gruelling fundraiser for sports enthusiasts and fundraising enthusiasts alike on 31st August 2013. The ‘Beat the Borders’ event is proven to push even the most seasoned athletes to their limits with the minimum 48 mile route.
The National Three Peaks Challenge is a well known phrase amongst the more adventurous in the UK. This challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, respectively. The challenge is often done within 24 hours, although for those less keen on enduring the 24 hours of intensive climbing, the challenge is also available to complete within a three day time frame.
