One-day van hire
Moving house? Taking your children to or from university? Hiring a van for one day may be the best option for you. It’ll give you extra flexibility and we’ll include 250 miles free of charge to help you on your way.

Van hire by the hour
Don’t need to hire a van for a full day? Hire a van for an hour instead. Hourly van hire gives you more flexibility so you can hire for as many hours as you need and it’s available on any van in our fleet. Even better, fuel, our excess waiver and 125 miles are all included in your hourly price.

One-way van hire
Sometimes it’ll be easier not to return your rented van to the same branch. This option allows you to collect a van from an Arnold Clark branch and drop it off at one of our other branch locations. There is an additional fee for this service, but it is simple to organise and can make planning much easier for you.

When you can hire a van depends on several different factors like how long you’ve held your driving licence for. You can hire a van under 25 years of age however there may be restrictions, and a surcharge can be added to the booking.

Do Arnold Clark offer one-way van hire?
Yes, Arnold Clark offers one-way van hire. There is an additional charge for dropping your hired van off at a different branch location. This will be automatically applied at the checkout when you enter your collection and drop off locations.
Do you offer van hire for moving house?
We sure do! If you are moving all your belongings that include a few bulky items, we’d recommend hiring a Luton box van with tail lift. You’ll have plenty of space and the tail lift will save you having to lift heavy items into the van. For house moves that aren’t as bulky we still have small, medium, large and extra-large vans available.
