Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental win ‘Event Supplier of the Year’ at the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) Awards 2019.
What is NOEA?
The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) is the UK’s leading outdoor events association. They’re dedicated to improving standards in the industry by sharing best practice, improving education and creating business opportunities. The NOEA Awards recognises and celebrates the individuals and companies who work in the events industry and go the extra mile. This year’s awards ceremony and gala dinner was held at Bath’s exclusive Pump Rooms.
Why did we win ‘Event Supplier of the Year’?
Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental supply vehicles to a range of events across the UK. From popular music festivals, to large sporting tournaments, we’re experts at what we do.
In 2019, we made a commitment to three of the UK’s largest outdoor events.
1) The Solheim Cup
Ross Hallett, IMG Tournament Director said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Arnold Clark as a partner for the 2019 Solheim Cup and believe their contribution, in terms of their excellent products and world-class service, will play a vital role in helping us realise our ambition of delivering the best Solheim Cup to date.’
2) Women’s British Open
James Spence, IMG Golf Director, said: ‘The commitment from Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental has been central to the success of the Women’s British Open. Their ongoing support and generosity have allowed the event to run smoothly year on year and make it a more enjoyable experience for visitors.’
3) The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
Nancy Riach, Partnership and Development Manager, said: ‘We’re so happy to be working with Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental for the second year running. They’re a dream to work with and the vehicles they supply are always absolutely perfect. They deliver when they say they’re going to and always go above and beyond to accommodate us. I hope that they can continue to supply the Tattoo’s vehicles for years to come.’
These three events are just a few examples of the work we do in the events industry. We supply vehicles and sponsor a range of events and organisations across the UK, like the New Forest Marathon and the North Coast 500.
Philippa Park, Corporate Account Manager for Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental, attended the 2019 NOEA Awards in Bath and collected the trophy on behalf of the company. Phillipa said: ‘I was absolutely delighted to accept this award on behalf of everyone in the Events team at Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental. We started working in the events industry back in 2007 at the T in the Park Festival where we only had five vehicles! It’s great to be recognised for the work we do, but it’s even better to see how far we’ve come!’
