Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Hunt at Conifox

Conifox Adventure Park is already a great day out for the family, but they are now offering a Halloween hunt to celebrate the season. With a special trail to follow and treats galore, the day finishes with you picking your own pumpkin from their pumpkin patch to carve your very own Jack-o-lantern.

Edinburgh Zoo Spooktacular

For the very first time Edinburgh are opening their gates after dark this year and amazing guests with a special illuminated trail suitable for all ages. The one-mile trail will allow guests to get a whole new perspective on the world-famous zoo, but requires online booking beforehand, as places have to be carefully managed.

You also have the option to grab yourself a special VIP ticket that gives you access to the zoo for the entire day, including a two-course meal at the Grasslands restaurant and immediate access to the Spooktacular event when it begins at 5.30pm.

GlasGLOW Botanic Gardens

Following three sold out years, GlasGLOW returns to Glasgow’s Botanic Garden for this year’s Halloween.

Jump into a fun adventure trail which has you unravelling the mysterious ‘gloop’ that has engulfed the garden. You’ll experience spectacular scenery and have access a host of street food vendors to help keep your strength up during your investigation.

Loch Lomond Halloween Encounter and Scary Faerie Trail

Loch Lomond is already a magical place, so what better way to spend Halloween than being guided through its haunted woods. With live actors, lights and spooky treats for the whole family, this spooky tour comes with a hot drink and your own pumpkin (if you want) to ensure you have a magical experience.

And for the younger ghost hunters, there’s the Scary Faerie Trail, a shorter, gentler experience that includes a special guidebook to help you solve the mystery by following clues through the woods. A night that is sure to leave everyone enchanted!

At the Flix Halloween Spooktacular at Loudoun Castle

Re-living the golden age of drive-thru Cinema, At the Flix is putting on a Spooktacular show this year at Loudoun Castle. With a host of films available that are suitable for a range of ages, you can create your own perfect Halloween night out from the comfort of your car. Just book your tickets, find your spot at the car park, and then tune in to the special radio frequency to enjoy your film.

With much more available than just films, such as classic movie food, fancy dress contests, and ‘car-a-oke’, this is one movie night you don’t want to miss.

The Witches of Pollok by Cara Hamilton

Another immersive experience for the brave (or fool-hardy), The Witches of Pollok takes you back to when terror of witches gripped the nation, and to the execution of six witches.

Based on historical events, The Witches of Pollok will guide you through a mystical night of fortune telling, the black arts, and have you come face to face with grim and dark realities of a harsher time.
