Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental began in 1963 with just 12 cars.

However, today, we're proud to have over 35 branches across the UK, offering expert vehicle hire to customers from all over the world.

As well as offering hourly hire and hassle-free online booking, we always aim to make our rental service as simple as possible for our customers.

Whether it’s a car or van you’re planning to hire from us, we’re delighted to offer you a host of free, add-on extras.

Insurance

The price you pay for your hire vehicle includes insurance as standard. However, you are able to purchase an excess waiver to avoid being charged if any damage to the vehicle occurs.

Roadside assistance

In the unlikely event of a breakdown or accident, call the phone number displayed on the vehicle's windscreen or find it in the information document.

250 miles free per day

You will be given 250 miles free per day for all hires. If you hire a car for four or more days, you will be given unlimited mileage.

Pick up and drop offs

We aim to make your journey as seamless as possible. That’s why some of our branches offer free pick-ups and drop-offs from local train and bus stations. Contact your branch for more details.

One-way hire

You can also drop off your hire car at another one of our branches. Please request this at time of booking.

A choice of add-ons

We offer a range of add-ons you can purchase, including baby and child seats (from as little as £1), sat navs and additional drivers.
