We know how expensive learning to drive can be - the average driving lesson has now risen to over £25 per hour! That’s why we offer low-cost dual control cars to allow learners to get some extra practice in between lessons.

From only £12 per hour, our dual control cars come with two sets of controls, allowing an experienced driver to keep you safe while you learn. The price you see is the price you pay, and includes VAT, fuel and comprehensive insurance as standard. There’s also no mileage restriction, giving you the freedom to drive around without worrying about the cost. If you have a Young Scot or NUS card, you can take advantage of two hours for the price of one (valid Monday to Friday).

Remember you can sit your test in one of our dual control cars, you just need to have hired the car for at least one hour on a previous day. We’ll even give you a shiny certificate if you pass your test in one of our cars!

Dual control customers can also expect big savings when they buy their car from Arnold Clark. If you hire the dual control car for ten hours or more, we’ll give you a £300 voucher to use towards your first car when you pass your test.
